Winter Group Events We will design special group events especially for you! Take the sting out of winter, by getting into the great outdoors at Captiva Farms. We lead our horses down protected trails, to minimize wind and weather exposure. Come back to the farm afterwards for hot chocolate and coffee, or visit the nearby village of Wakefield for an award-winning meal at one of a dozen excellent restaurants or cafés. Captiva Farms was founded 30 years ago as a place to get away from the demands and stresses of city living. By entering the gates of our 450 acres horseback trail riding ranch, situated 5 minutes east of Wakefield Québec (La Pêche), guests enter into a world that slows down to a horse’s heartbeat.
